APPRENTICE PROGRAM
A focused training pathway for serious aerial students who are ready to deepen their technical skills, develop artistic discipline, and apply what they learn through consistent, guided practice.Program Overview
The Ruby Karen Project Apprentice Program is designed for dedicated students who wish to go beyond weekly classes. This program provides structured access to practice sessions with the intention of mastering aerial technique, strengthening foundations, and cultivating professional training habits. Apprentice sessions are not classes. They are supervised training opportunities created specifically so students can apply, refine, and repeat what they learn in their aerial technique classes.Who This Program Is For

- Students interested in performance experience and long-term development
- Youth and adults who thrive in a disciplined, goal-oriented environment
Eligibility is determined by attendance behavior and is granted by invitation.
Tuition & Training Structure
Basic Monthly Tuition: $270 – $300 (based on age)Apprentice Tuition Includes:
- 4 aerial technique classes **
- 1x per day unlimited apprentice practice sessions
- 1 contortion, acrobatics, or circus class
** Special payment links can be arranged for students enrolling in 8 classes or unlimited classes.
Contracts & Commitment
Students Under 18
Participation requires a yearly contract. This structure encourages consistency, accountability, and long-term skill development during formative training years.Adult Apprentices
Adult students enroll under a 3-month renewable contract, allowing flexibility while maintaining commitment to focused training.Perks & Learning Opportunities
- Participation in community and studio performances
- Strategic grouping of acts for collaborative growth
- Experience training on contemporary and non-traditional apparatus
- Introduction to dance movement, acrobatics, and circus skills
- Guided exposure to performance structure and artistic development
Competition Participation
Apprentices are permitted to participate exclusively in the West Coast Aerial Arts Festival (WCAAF). Participation in competitions organized by other organizations is not supported through this program.Studio Life & Community
